Having sailed around the Caribbean for a year together, they fully understand the needs and unique preferences of their clients, and their desire for personal, ‘hand’s on’ service.

Kevin’s love of sailing and extensive experience in shopfitting and architectural planning gave him the expertise to customise the layout of the yacht’s interior, and creatively utilise every inch of space to meet the individual ‘lifestyle’ needs of his clients.

Rika, whose passion for interior décor and design excellence is reflected in her comprehensive interior design consultancy service, works closely with clients offering an almost infinite selection of fabric swatches, finishes, and lighting, enabling stunning interiors from clean hi-tech minimalism to luxurious and sumptuous baroque.

Their complementary talent and skills ensures the Knysna Yacht Company will continue to produce the world’s ultimate combination of innovative, high performance, long-cruising catamarans with luxurious, stylish accommodation.

This unique ‘boutique’ approach to yacht building means that every Knysna 500 is a limited edition and a true reflection of their clients’ personality, style and taste.

 

 

The building process begins with a visit to the factory by the client who will then make the decision to purchase either the Knysna 440 or 480 Catamaran. We have on-going discussions relating to the style, performance and budget expectations which soon provides clear understanding and vision and converts the dream to reality.
