Sailfish the new model K480

Yacht Sailfish the first of the new Knysna480 - owner Michiel Vijverberg was launched end 2009, see www.indianoceancharters.com
Delivery skipper Colin Forster – who sailed her to the Maldives were she will be joining the current Charter fleet, emailed Kevin Fouche and his team with very positive news on her performance!
His testimonial
“Hi there, I have delivered the first Knysna480 catamaran to the Maldives. Having delivered many different kinds of catamarans worldwide; I found it to be the best I have sailed to date! A Knysna480 with 54HP (one engine running) should reach 7 knots at 1800 refs. Both engines at 2000 refs should get 10 knots. Currently sailing 10 knots upwind with 15 knots of wind, more on a reach. We have covered 200 miles per day; a lot of which was with Genoa + 2 reefs in the main, very comfortable. You can email me should you need any more information- This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
